Do these products require drilling?
It depends on the product. The Door Security Bar and the Door Wedge need no tools at all - they brace in place and lift straight out again, which makes them the usual choice for renters. The Door Reinforcement Lock and the kickdown stoppers are screw-fixed, and come with the hardware you need. Each Amazon listing has the full installation detail.

Will the security bar fit my door or window?
The 3-in-1 door bar adjusts from 23″ to 47.2″ across 18 locking positions and braces under a door handle, across a sliding patio door, or in a window track. The 2-bar set adds a second bar that adjusts from 20″ to 44.5″, sized for windows and shorter sliding tracks. Measure the opening at its widest point and choose the set that covers it.
What's the difference between the kickdown and the Signature Stepdown?
Same idea, different duty. The kickdown stopper suits ordinary internal and front doors. The Signature Stepdown is larger and made from a stronger gauge of metal for heavy-duty use - solid-core doors, commercial entrances and anything that gets opened all day.
Are the wedges non-slip on hard floors?
Yes. The body is stainless steel, and the top and base are high-quality rubber, so the wedge grips the floor and the door instead of sliding on tile or polished wood.
